About

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Thank you for taking the time to prayerfully consider joining us in this endeavor to reach the Filipino people on the southern island of Mindanao. Nehemiah 2:18a Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me. We as a family have been able to see the hand of the Lord in enabling us to go to the Philippines for an extended survey trip. By God’s provision, we arrived in Cagayan De Oro on August 14th 2014 along with 29 pieces of checked luggage. We served alongside Dr. Sutek and his family in Bible Believers Baptist Church, and The Institute for Biblical Ministries of the Philippines. I spent 7 months teaching in the bible institute, preaching and teaching in the church. The whole family was blessed to be able to be involved in the Publick outreach, street preaching ,personal conversations, public school, nursing homes, prison ministry, bible studies in the police station and getting to know our neighbors’.

Statement of Faith

God:

There is only one God and he is the creator and sustainer of all life, Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 45:18, Psalm 104. The Godhead is understood through the scriptures and is manifested in Jesus Christ, I Timothy 3:16, I John 5:7, Col.2:9.

The Scriptures:

The King James Bible is the inspired, preserved word of God as promised in Psalm 12: 6,7, II Timothy 3:16, Mt 24:35.

Salvation:

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, John 14:6. Neither is there salvation in any other, Acts 4:12. Salvation is by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ, Ephesians 2:8, 9, Romans 10:8-13.

Baptism:

Water Baptism is a step of obedience for the new convert, Mt.28:19, 20, Acts 10:48, Acts 8:28-38.  Baptism is by immersion Mt. 3:16, Acts 8:38. Water baptism is a testimony and a picture of a believer’s faith in Jesus Christ. I Peter 3:21.

The Church:

We believe that a visible church of Christ is a congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and the fellowship of the Gospel, observing the ordinances of Christ, governed by His laws, and exercising the gifts, rights and privileges invested in them by His word; that its only Scriptural officers are bishops or pastors and deacons, whose qualifications, claims, and duties are defined in the epistles to Timothy and to Titus. This church is an independent local autonomy, governed internally and responsible only to the Lord Jesus Christ. Its ministries include glorifying the Saviour, edifying the saints, and evangelizing the world for Christ. Matthew 16:18; Matthew 28:19, 20; Acts 2:47; Acts 14:23; Acts 20:28: Romans 16:5; Ephesians 1:22; Ephesians 5:23; 1 Timothy 3.

Heaven

The Bible Way to Heaven:

1. Recognize your condition.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)None of us is good enough to go to Heaven on our own merit. Because we are sinners, no matter how much good we do, we always fall short.

2. Realize the penalty for sin.

For the wages of sin is death... (Romans 6:23a) Just as there are wages for good, there is punishment for wrong. The penalty for our sin is eternal death in a place called Hell.

3. Believe Christ died for you.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)Christ showed His great love for us when He died on the cross to pay our sin debt.

4. Trust Christ alone as your Saviour

....but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23b)For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13) Everlasting life is a gift purchased by the blood of Jesus and offered freely to those who call upon Him by faith. Let us help you word a prayer. (Realize that what saves is your faith in Jesus Christ, not saying mere words.)If you will trust Jesus Christ as your Savior, pray a simple prayer. Prayer is simply talking to God. Tell Him that you know you are a sinner and that you deserve to pay your own sin debt. Acknowledge that Jesus died for you to pay the debt you owe, Today, as best as you know how, you will trust Him as your Savior. You will depend on Him from this moment on for your salvation. Ask God to help you live for Him and be a good Christian.

If you have trusted Jesus Christ to save you, please let us know! by e-mail or you can call 208-691-2825. We’d like to be sure you have a Bible and help you grow as a new Christian. Once you are saved, you are saved for eternity. You cannot lose your salvation. No creature or thing can take it away from you.God says:

I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish. (John 10:28)

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12)

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
